ROBLOX Recording Audio Problem

I just recorded a video to upload to youtube and the video had a high pitched sound at the start of the video. I recorded it again, and it had the same sound.

Not sure if it’s related to this: Horrible sound bug with Roblox Recorder

But this pretty much removes my ability to record videos through the client/studio. Anyone else having this problem? I just built a new computer recently, so I’m not sure if that’s the cause. Never had this problem before. This happens in both studio and player.

Looks like the same 1.5 month old bug on the right audio channel. Use OBS ‘game capture’ or something else to record gameplay more efficiently btw. Hope this bug gets fixed. I’m guessing it’s only on windows 10

It’s a Windows 10 Realtek audio driver issue - if you use an older driver it will more than likely work just fine.

I don’t actually recommend using an older driver, though. You’re best recording using something like OBS like Maelstronomer said, as that allows you higher quality (up to 1080p) and also voice recording, with a crap ton more options than ROBLOX’s default recorder.

I ended up downloading OBS. I’m just confused though because I had windows 10 on my old computer and I didn’t have this problem.

I just liked using the recorder for recording quick videos instead of opening another program. :stuck_out_tongue:

If you have a Nvidia GTX 670+ (I think that’s the number) then you can automatically record your screen with GeForce Experience.

I do use OBS though and I find it really useful.
