Roblox refuses to launch with unsigned GPU drivers

If you use unsigned graphics drivers roblox complains that “Critical system files are corrupt!” and refuses to launch, telling me to reset my laptop
Windows files are, in fact, NOT corrupted and the only thing modified is OpenGL so it doesnt implode when given NT 10.0

System info:

  • ThinkPad E520
  • iGPU: HD 3000

Expected behavior

Roblox doesn’t care if i use a modified graphics driver
like there is no harm to using modded graphics drivers and hardening the client makes 0 sense

Workaround: disable test signing but leave integrity checks disabled

This still allows unsigned drivers (defeating any benefits if this was an intentional blocking) but it isnt detectable to my knowledge

Hello AdvancedOpenGL,

This is by design and not a bug.

what is the purpose of this??? blocking useful features is an anti-player move

Hmm, oh do I wonder what could possibly be wrong in allowing unsigned NT kernel drivers when running the Player with Hyperion…

you can do this without test mode
disabling test mode but also disabling integrity checks literally gets passed this check and lets me use my patched igpu driver
