Roblox refusing to start

Recently, I’ve attempted to start Roblox to play with my friends.

I’ve tried reinstalling Roblox multiple times and even booting into a different operating system. It’s only returned an HTTP error and task manager does say that its running in the background.

Here are my machine’s specs in case they may become useful:

Model: Lenovo ThinkPad X220 (2011)
OS: Windows 7 Professional (SP1) x64
CPU: Intel(R) Core ™ i5-2540M CPU @2.60 GHz
GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 @ 1300 MHz

I don’t have a screenshot at the moment. I’m struggling to reproduce the error.

When I run this program, it will run in the background but never seem to appear on my desktop.

This is what happens after running RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe located at
%LocalAppData%\Roblox\Versions\version-48a28da848b7420d

I believe I have found a temporary solution. I’m booting into a separate operating system and Roblox appears to be functioning correctly. I’m assuming that a misconfiguration is what made Roblox break on my main OS.

Roblox has already ended support for Windows 7.

No they havent.

I own a Windows 7 computer, and I can still run Roblox.

I got it to work! I just deleted a bunch of things that related to Roblox and it started working just as normal!
