The free models are so good and they’re way better than anything I could make. Could I use them in my game? Will I get hate for it? My game is fun.
Hello, I think that use free models for weapons is not the best idea you can have, personally I don’t like the games that use them but if you haven’t insufficient experience making a weapon you can use them for the first period and after change them with your own models.
I don’t recommend you using free models. If they are better than what you were able to make, I recommend you getting an idea of how they are scripted, and change some stuff related to those.
If your game would get popular, that would mean more suggestions. If you don’t know how to script a gun, just free models, then you can’t make those suggestions, which won’t be liked by the community. Every popular game out there added at least 1 suggestion from the community.

You will not get hate from players just by using free models. Players won’t know what a free model is and they won’t care as long as the game is fun. Using free models saves a huge chunk of time since you don’t have to waste time modeling and scripting something that’s already been made and ready to be used in the toolbox. It doesn’t matter if you use free models or not. It matters about what you do with them.

Nope. It really wont matter, even if people know there’s not shame in using free models. Everyone uses them in their games at one point or another.
Especially using RBS Gun kit that Roblox provided were already used in many non skilled game
but i think using that would be bad
- You cannot zoom in with those gun
- it’s hard to control because there is no hotkey of changing position camera
- You cannot modify them (expect stats)
i suggest using “FE Gun kit edited version” if you want to improve the game better without finding alot of tutorials that you don’t want
i don’t say those guns that roblox made or any game that uses it were bad

I don’t think you will get hate as long as you make the scripts not obviously a free model(has viruses, glitches) also recommend changing the model or ui it has since players will see the model multiple times and know it as a free model.
