Roblox rules and hanging

hey so i wanted to add a badge to my game where if you hang a soldier’s corpse from a specific faction and then pour gasoline below him and burn it at a certain spot, you get a badge called Trial by Fire (the faction is a rebellion).

so far what i’ve seen on devforum is a mix of yes and no based on exceptions of how you portray it. any advice on rules is appreciated.

So you are asking if a war crime is allowed?

In that case, the answer is no

the UN doesn’t apply in a fictional universe :smirk:

Roblox says that depictions of war crimes in games are not allowed. :smirk:

who said it’s a warcrime if the UN doesnt exist :smirk:.

also i’m pretty sure flame throwers are against the laws of war anyways, yet so many games use them

Depends what age rating your game is. If you fill out the questionnaire it should gave you an age rating, most likely 13+. Is the scene fictional or realistic? Is there real blood? If it’s fictional it should be okay as seen in games like “Shoot noobs and eat them” but if its more realistic as in mesh characters I would advise against it. If it’s JUST seeing them hanging them on a cross, that would be okay as well, as seen in games like The Mimic or Chronicles.

Keep in mind if there is blood in your game, console players may not be able to play due to how Roblox handles it. You may also want to look at the community standards: Roblox Community Standards – Roblox Support

Hope this helps!
