ROBLOX Shadow Cloud Crash

I’ve been using a cloud gaming PC called Shadow from shadow.tech. But for the last month, I couldn’t play ROBLOX. Every time I try to join the game, it crashes after just 3 seconds, showing an error message.

I’m not the only one facing this problem with Shadow Cloud. Many other users, if not all, seem to be experiencing the same issues. Personally, I’m using the ROBLOX Microsoft Store version right now, but I find it poorly made because it lacks a Voicechat feature, and the key functions are different from what I’m used to.

Please fix that.

Roblox’s anticheat will not let you play if it detects it’s running inside of a virtual machine.

is there anything else what we can do? I do not want to play on the Microsoft Version, because it lacks some functionalities

Why are you not able to play on the regular version? Are you on linux?

Shadow Cloud is a Gaming PC in the cloud for users who don’t have a gaming PC. It’s a virtual machine.

This is what i use, it is a cloud gaming service: https://shadow.tech/

Why are you not able to play on the regular version?

That is the problem, i am not able play the regular version, due to the new byfron Update. The Microsoft Version works due to the not implentation of the Hyperion System.

For right now you may use now.gg, because its doesnt has such issues and working on mobile versions

Try exiting out of explorer and then running Roblox.

Why? Are you running on Linux? I am sure that the Byfron team would want to fix as many false-positives with their anti-cheat, as to not alienate any players.

Shadow Cloud is a virtual machine, virtual machines are not able to use the Roblox player

I was talking to Tasen, as shown by the “Reply” icon you can click to see the post I was replying to. I was asking them why they could not just run Roblox on their own machine, and telling them that they should report any problems they have with Hyperion while doing that.

Normally it’s because their own machine isn’t powerful enough and shadow gives you a fairly powerful machine through the cloud on a monthly subscription basis.

I’m assuming you are able to access the desktop as an admin with Shadow, and it is running Windows. Is Hyper-V enabled on the Windows system (Search > Turn windows features on or off > Hyper-V)? If not, I’ve found that enabling it is able to get around the limitations imposed by Hyperion.
