I am trying to bring a StarWars dream to reality. I am currently working on a customizable lightsaber system where players can find a crafting bench and change different things about there lightsabers. This project is missing a scripter and I am looking for a scripter to help script this and maybe another UI designer.

I wouldn’t do this simply because of the copyright issues. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great idea but unfortunately I don’t think you own the rights to Starwars so your game will probably be taken down. Look at Pokemon Brick Bronze for instance, I just find this idea too risky because of the copyright laws.
Dont worry I have a plan for that, It is not gonna be entirely based of star wars
Roblox will not take down any star wars related content unless lucasfilm/disney tells roblox to no longer allow star wars content. Something i read in a post by roblox some time back on this forum.
But yeah there’s always a risk of one day that star wars content is no longer allowed on roblox but for now there should be no problem at all.

It was just a sponsor, I’m no legal expert but I think they don’t have any rights.
Yeah could be, all i remember that they said we are allowed to make anything unless a company has restricted roblox to do so. But i think atm making star wars content is completely fine as there are tons of star wars related games and some really popular ones too.

It isn’t dependant on if a company has restricted another one from using their rights. Just because there is loads of Starwars games doesn’t mean Lucasfilms won’t take this one down. I’m going to not respond to anymore replies as it’ll be classed as spam.
For the OP I would change the branding to something of your own
As someone with direct knowledge of Disney’s copyrights and such, I feel qualified to answer this.
Disney will, once you start making money or being even moderately successful, issue a DMCA notice on the grounds of intellectual property, and your game will be removed. This is because Disney has to protect their IPs from everyone, otherwise they lose their copyrights. This has happened many times before, and will continue many times later.
