So basically i formatted my computer and when i downloaded and run the setup exe, it says “Please wait” and closes the tab immediately… in my old computer it worked fine. i have a friend that has the same issue aswell… I uninstalled Roblox, closed it from the task manager, etc. I dont want to format my computer again.

After what you wrote, I can suggest remedial ideas, but I do not promise that they will work
A: Antivirus is blocking the update: If so, let Roblox past the antivirus.
B: Internet Connection is unstable, or your ping is too high.
C: Error occured during updating, and now it’s stuck. Close the player, delete and reinstall it again.
D: Turning the internet on and off again
