I did this again (with the same specs above), and it went down, but it didn’t go down that much. Almost looks like it got higher (so 1 is like 2 and so on),
I have the “Updated Docking System” and “New Roblox Controls” beta enabled, by the way.
Hey, any follow-up on this issue? I’m still experiencing this, and it’s really annoying to move my camera.
Edit: When editing the camera sens by Roblox in-game settings, it really doesn’t move but like .0001, nothing really.
Could you try turning off the ‘New Studio Camera Controls’ beta feature, and let us know if that resolves the issue?
Hey, thanks for the response. I’ve went ahead and redid it as I did before and noticed no noticeable change in behavior.
When editing the Roblox in-game settings, I do notice a very very light difference in camera sensitivity in Roblox Studio, and it really a big difference from what I’ve did before.
Have you found any fix for this? The only thing that worked for me was changing the camera sensitity after playing the game and going to ingame settings, but pan settings wont work, crazy you were stuck on the for like 5 months
Honestly, no I haven’t yet. I’ve noticed a slight difference, but overall, it’s not fixed yet. It’s either super slow or super fast, which neither suits my development workflow.
@CaiusCosades0 Do you have any updates or any followups that you can share? I would so greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
Try doing this
On Windows, navigate to
C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Roblox
and delete theClientSettings
andGlobalBasicSettings_13.xml
files.
It works as a temp solution, but Roblox will reset it after I close it.
So you must have some type of script or thing overriding the studio ingame settings or something?
Because the problem must be that the player settings when you press play in studio is broken
It’s the new anticheat they added - it rollbacks your changes or something (might not be the anticheat or something else) just assuming. I’m not really sure.
Is it changing you sensitivity settings in game
Yes, I am nodifying my in game settings.
That would be counting as tos violations as it’s meant to be there.
My camera speed changes randomly even though key combination is disabled (with new studio camera controls)
If they wanted you to modify it, it wouldn’t reset back to default. Me creating a python script to force it, would be abuse and possibly not wanted.
Recently tried it with the New Gen Roblox Studio UI, and same issue has been present in both of the Studio’s UIs.
We’ve recently released a fix for the New Studio Camera Controls, can you try again with that enabled?
It is unfortunately not fixed in Roblox Studio yet, my camera sensitivity is still feeling like I’m on max camera sensitivity, and I’m on 1 sensitivity.
