I was wondering if I could use Movie Posters in my game i’m doing a Movie Theater Showcase game but are we allowed to use Real World Movie Posters? There’s alot in the the Toolbox and its technically advertising for the movies?
I am not a lawyer or anything but I am 99% sure that movie posters are copyrighted. If you want to do this, you should get the creators’ permisson to do so, and using the “movie posters” in the toolbox will probably give you a DMCA strike.

I mean, it really depends if I am being honest, most posters include information of the studio and such, so technically you’re not stealing it, as credit is given, and I doubt you’ll be hunted down for a movie poster in roblox. I personally would recommend either learning how to GFX or hiring a GFX artist to make a Roblox version for you, but otherwise you should be fine.
