I just switched the setting off and yes, it does infact fix the issue. Thank you!
Hi @xXRedFlamyXx , as others noted in this thread its possibly related to the latest Win11 update and the optimize window game function. If that’s not the case, please send us logs and microprofiler captures to get further details on this.
Hi, I’m getting similar, massive drops in performance to OP while using Win10. I also recently upgraded my specs to a 4070 super, 64gb ddr4 ram, so not sure which caused the performance issues.
Tried most of the fixes I found, such as installing any remaining windows updates, turning on/off hardware gpu acceleration in display graphic settings, changing graphic modes in roblox studio, etc.
Roblox Player works fine, so does any other game I have played so far. No other production programs have this problem either (I use blender and premiere and they work fine)
Sent my logs to the bug files group.
Looking at your log, you’re using Vulkan? Do you get a different result with D3D?
Same results. Posted the same logs again in the DM.
It most likely is the case but this isn’t a solution to turn off Auto HDR too, would like to see a real fix soon
tysm, had this issue for weeks and this fixed it :]
Wow, I knew it had something to do with a Windows update! Didn’t happen until I received an update.
But yeah, I was experiencing stuttery movement on my end as well, though I’m trying again now and it seems to have stopped or reduced
Seems like it was my case, I was streaming studio and scrolling in the script was laggy.
i really spent, almost half the day, trying to fix my game, because i thought it was my scripts. tysm
I have this issue, it is so bad. I can’t even script because it lags so bad.
This has not solved the issue 100% for me. It’s improved slightly, but still horrendous to work with.
Still experiencing this - hope the engineers can fix soon because it’s getting to be annoying.
Playing in Studio works fine, playing Roblox experiences works fine, but working in the Studio environment you can tell there is slight lag that shouldn’t be there for Windows users.
yes i have this issue either after the 663 release
I think its release 663 I cant even work on my game its so annoying
yes it happened to my after that dang release
I was having this issue a few months ago as well, and I found out somehow that it had something to do with NVIDIA Experience (indicated by the overlay that pops up prompting you to press Alt + Z to see performance info when you launch a game or certain apps).
Seeing that you and most people that experience this also have NVIDIA GPUs, try exiting the program and see if that helps.
Its been a while, but I think that’s what solved my issue.
after reading your post i thought about moving to the previous version of my driver and it actually worked for me so if any one is having this issue and have a nvidia gpu then try to move to an older version
