This is what it’s like in studio, the cpu is melting and the gpu isn’t being fully used. It only occurs in studio while playtesting, not anywhere else in studio or in-game.
My graphics mode is Direct3D11 (it focuses on my gpu more than any other mode).
How can I get studio to use my gpu rather than my cpu while playtesting?
What’s using 43% GPU then? What graphics card and processor do you have? Do you have a laptop and are you sure that it is running the dedicated graphics processor? And if something in Studio is taking up CPU, that load will not be distributed to the GPU.
Roblox studio is using that 43% GPU but it is using my cpu in comparison to my gpu a lot more than it does in-game or in edit mode. Not sure if that’s normal or not and how I can get it to utilize my gpu more.

the gpu actually isn’t that bad even though it’s not dedicated, I can play games like jailbreak and phantom forces with full graphics on these specs with smooth gameplay.
That’s a nice processor. Yeah, so CPU and GPU workloads are not convertible into each other. I would take a chance that maybe a plugin or something is eating up CPU more than it should, because a processor like that shouldn’t really be bogged down so much more by being in Studio. Hopefully someone has some better experience with this problem.
