Roblox Studio on MacOS doesn’t clear up VRAM after closing application

reposted because I accidentally put it under the wrong topic:

Not sure if anyone else gets this, but my performance in-game is completely terrible after having studio open for awhile

Not sure if this is exactly intended but it does hinder my performance when playing games until I do a full restart to clear out VRAM. If anyone else has a mac feel free to check this using GPU Monitor Pro

Maybe this is completely intended and how VRAM works but it does impact my performance.

For those who don’t know what VRAM(Video Random Access Memory) is, It’s essentially where your GPU stores all textures and tringles related to 2D and 3D rendering. So whenever you start up studio, all assets that you see on your screen is stored within your GPU’s VRAM - and in this case I have 8GB where most of the VRAM is being used up by Roblox Studio even after closing it.

The fan’s aren’t being loud or anything indicating that the GPU isn’t under heavy load(and you can see that it’s just idling at 2% usage) - It’s also chilling at 64 degrees.

Not an expert but restarting my computer clears up the VRAM and makes games not laggy anymore - but I shouldn’t have to do this.
