Roblox Studio Persistent Crashing

Expected Behaviour:
Being able to run a live studio session without experiencing frequent crashing after opening for a few minutes.

Current Behaviour:
Whilst in this specific experience with team create (attached a place download via a private message), I constantly experience frequent crashes. I have attempted to utilise my work desktop, and personal laptop to produce content on the experience - however, both devices result in persistent crashing.

I have been experiencing this same issue with certain team create places. I submitted a bug report also but received no response. It is quite annoying having to work on local files all the time which is what I have had to do, really hope this gets fixed. Only been happening to me personally for the last week or so.

We’re not able to correlate logs with the info on our backend, so additional is needed. @DisneyDude_RBX if you’re seeing this as well, please DM a log and if you can a minimal place that helps repro the issue.

Thanks for the response and the investigation. To narrow down the issue, I’m only experiencing this on large-scale experiences with abundance of unique assets. However, none of my other team-mates experience this issue. I’ve reported this bug to a previous experience in November (Reference 1), however, it stopped and has continued recently again.

Is there any other information that I can provide/gather related to this incident, as it’s currently occurring with the experience attached and another place?

Related to your comment about the information not relating to your backend. Would this potentially be a client-side issue, where hardware could be the factor - as there is a pattern based on the experience scale causing the crashes, with a consistent time from launch.

I personally use a lot of highly computational programs for programming, and Unreal Engine 5 which work perfectly with no interrupts. It’s just the ROBLOX engine acting weirdly on certain projects.

Its happening to me aswell. The crashing is just too frequent .

Bumping this as I am still having issues. Any updates on this?

An employee responded to my private messages, and they’re still investigating.

The issues could be related to the large file size of the studio. They haven’t confirmed it, but it seems like the appropriate issue is being flagged as there is a consistent pattern.

I’ve attached a resource document sent by one of the employees, which you can read yourself and see if you can resolve your issue. If it isn’t an issue with your file size, then just put a reply under here so it will help with the team’s investigation.

My place file is at 96MB however I was not having issues prior to all of this. If place size is creating such problems, I think that needs to be looked into. Games are progressively getting more detailed and I feel Roblox need to try and accommodate that better.

Can we get an update on whats happening with this? I am still having this happen and its getting quite difficult to work on certain things.

Bumping this once again as I am continuing to have issues. Can I at least get an answer/update on if anything is being done about this?

One of our team members is currently experiencing this issue for Team Create in our game, Oaklands. I can DM a log file to staff if needed.

Edit: He reinstalled studio and the issue resolved itself.

I did that almost a month ago an they did absolutely nothing to update us since. You can try but getting any kind of support is getting really difficult.

Edit: Did a complete reinstall of both studio and roblox including deleting the roblox folder on my computer. Now my studio wont even autosave anymore.
