I’ve been creating local servers to test multiplayer features. It was doing good for a few days, but now whenever I start it, the windows that handle the players load really slow and start to not respond.
I’ve tried reinstalling studio, closing every app so that it can focus running roblox studio, restarting my laptop, and focusing/not focusing on the windows that has the clients running in it.
I have an RTX 3050 6VRAM with 16GB ram, and I don’t think that i’m supposed to be facing any issue running this.
I’ve searched for solutions in the devforum, but they’re not related to the problem that I’m currently facing. Also, the scripts that run in my game aren’t even performance intensive. No infinite while loops, or anything of that sort.
I’ve also noticed that the ram usage is really high. Is that normal? I could run two servers using a Ryzen 3200U with 4gb of ram without facing this issue.
Edit: I found a temporary ‘solution’, it seems that if I have 3 players instead of 2, it freezes out only one window. It seems to be targetting only one. Very weird.
Here is link to the video of the problem that I’m currently facing:
