So about a couple of days ago Roblox studio started lagging when i create, drag, size or rotate a part… All of my graphics settings are set to the lowest possible so its not that and before it started lagging i was getting 60 fps… Does anybody know of a fix for this?

I don’t know why it’s happening, but it’s not just studio. In games, I’ve been getting some lagback while getting hit even though I wasn’t laggy right before that. It’s caused me to lose a few times.

You probably have a virus from a free model, check some of the scripts and models you have, if you see something suspicious, tell me! Because once you insert a virus in Roblox studio, all your games will get it, this happened to me in 2016, lost all of my work. If it’s not a virus, search for a plugin, you may have downloaded a fake plugin, if so, tell me!

Try restarting your computer.
It could just be your game has a lot of scripts and parts in it.

I just use fps unlocker for roblox to combat the issues but you probably have a virus in your game from using free models or something.
Edit: if you have a virus in your game try using roblox virus defender plugin

Check if a humanoid is applied to the Workspace! Enjoy!

Free model viruses only affect the game that they’re in. And they do not affect Studio by itself, usually they just clone themselves over and over, causing lag when you’re playing or testing the game.
There are plenty of plugins, like “Ro-Defender” which know most of the viruses, and can remove them with just a click of a button.

Yeah that could be it. I once had a friend who installed “Ro-Defender”, after which when he opened a game in Studio, it blocked the entire screen with a ransomware-like GUI.
Upon a closer look at the plugin, it was from a different creator.

i am remember ungrouped my character when scaled it to model and basic hat droped fps to 1
Back in 2016, I inserted a virus in my game, it affected all my games and sure did affect my studio, so I can surely say that certain viruses affect studio, speaking from experience obviously.

In Roblox there are objects. An object could be a part, or a mesh, but it could also be things such as Humanoids.
Humanoids is object you put under things you want to have some sort of life. It could be used to create NPCs, Characters among other things.
But Humanoids that are placed under another object, could create lag when editing the object, because the Humanoid is trying to keep track of everything.
Something as big as a workspace where you have tons of objects (Models, meshes, parts etc) will lag if you have that Humanoid object placed under it.

This just happened to me. My client is dying really fast, and roblox is forcing me to delete the oof sound i still have.
