I don’t see it as random. Probably meant to be a way to help advertise their brand by having passionate developers display their logos on things like laptops. I have been wearing my RDC shirts a lot recently at college.
When haven’t i worn it is the better question

All joking aside this is pretty nifty. I think it’d be cool for things like personal workstations and such.
