Roblox Studio version-9b68669a3b644e31 flagged as virus/PUP

Studio version 648 is flagged by Windows Defender as a virus / PUP on installation. I utilize Roblox Studio Mod Manager as a bootstrapper, and it crashes upon attempting to perform a clean install of Studio, with Windows throwing System.IO.IOException: Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software.

It is entirely possible for Mod Manager to be at fault for this, but I cannot find a download link to specifically 648’s binary from ROBLOX. I did try reverting and force reinstalling version 647, and was able to with no problems.

Expected behavior

Studio to install and open as normal.

This problem has been fixed as far as I can tell.

This is mod manager itself. Applications that download a ZIP and starts other applications is sometimes flagged as suspicious. For mod manager, it’s a false flag, and it’s been an issue with mod manager for years.
