So, I’ve been building a map with just cylinders and it was working great on the building window, that was until I play tested it. I’ll attach images so you can see the issue.
This is what it looked like building it:
It seems that the parts are unanchored, and when the game starts calculating physics, the parts jump up so they’re not clipping into each other. Select all of the parts and use the Properties menu to ensure that they’re all anchored.
Hey! So from these pictures the solution that I think is the problem would be your parts aren’t anchored. You can anchor them from selecting all your parts/cylinders and clicking the model tab on the top window, then selecting Anchor. Or of course going in the properties tab and enabling the anchor property.
Also I’d like to point out if you have a NPC and you try to anchor it to keep a part in the hand or on there head just for example it won’t work due to the fact It’s not welded Quenty has a good weld script.
Thanks for the help. Actually it turned out to be the same topic and solution so it all worked out in the end.
Why does that weird shadow show up anyway?
That’s what happens to my avatar on the shadow.
