Roblox Support Changed My Username - Need Advice

Hello fellow developers,

I recently contacted Roblox Support to change my username due to privacy concerns (it contained my real name). I provided them with two alternative usernames that were based on my user ID and didn’t reveal any personal information:

  • 533651237
  • user533651237

However, Roblox changed my username to “UN_84602868” instead, which is something I don’t like or feel comfortable with. I’ve sent a follow-up email reiterating my preferred choices, but I’m unsure what else to do.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? What are your suggestions for getting Roblox Support to change my username to one of my preferred options?

Any advice or experience you could share would be greatly appreciated!

You can’t ask them to change your username to what you like, because this is normally done by paying 1000 robux so it’s wouldn’t be fair if you could have ut for free

You can get it done for free if your username has personally identifiable information. My username did. I’m saying that they did not change my username to something I requested.

You do not need to pay 1000 robux, support said they would do it for free

Because you can’t request a username you like, it doesn’t work like that

Do you want me to read the emails to you? I’ve already attached them but if reading is not your skill I have no problem in doing in. Roblox Support literally asked me what username I wanted…

if they didnt give you your desired username then contact them again??

also if you read your email they said that the provided username “might have private information”
