Roblox Terrain "merging/interlacing" seems to have issues in Roblox Studio

There seems to be an issue where Roblox Terrain merging between its different materials is happening differently in studio to how it occurs in the live-version of the game.

I’m not sure if this a newly enabled feature or a bug.

Game:

Beta Features:
All

Expected behavior

As you can see, the terrain looks perfectly normal in the live-build of the game.

The terrain does not have odd outlines where the terrain is merging in the live-build but does in the studio build.

Hi dylanjkl,

Thanks for the report. We’re not gonna be able to easily compare how the terrain looks in Client vs Studio if we only have access to the client version. Would you be able to provide a minimal .rbxl file as a repro? You can also provide it in a PM if the data needs to remain private.

I’m guessing this difference was due to an old bug with the Studio Beta for Unified Lighting, which was fixed. Can you confirm that the differences between Client and Studio are still happening?

I’m happy to report that this issue is no longer affecting the Studio client.
