Roblox thinks I don't own the animation I just made using Animation Editor

I’ve made some placeholder animations for my game in the past months/weeks.

Last night I needed a simple animation to look like the player was moving a hammer. I used Moon Animator first, then ported it to the animation editor, then saved it. Typical process, right? upon playing it, it doesn’t play in-game.

I opened up an empty baseplate, I opened up animation editor and tried to load another animation I made weeks ago, loaded successfully! Now I load the animation I just made, and it tells me I do not own the animation. What gives?

I did have to update moon animator prior to making it. But that’s why it’s not playing in-game but doesn’t prompt any permission or that I don’t have permission for the animation I made inside the project I made it in. Why does it think I don’t own it? I can load it and it play it inside the animation editor in the main project but empty base plates prompt that I don’t own it despite being able to load other animations I created.

I had this problem today. Mysteriously fixed out of nowhere after I imported another animation and imported the animation I wanted. However, when I start the game to test, many times the animations do not load. I don’t know what’s going on, but Roblox needs to fix it fast, because it looks like a download problem with the server.

Yikes, every other animation I made works and loads. But this new one doesn’t nor can I import it to an empty baseplate. For a min I was thinking moon animator was infected

Were you using Moon Animator? I just disabled it. Saved the animation again as a new one and was able to get it load and play on both empty baseplate and current project.
