It seems that I purchased a 20 robux speed coil on my ps5. I play often on console because of how simple it is, but this has ruined my day.

I was playing a game, but there is an item in the hotbar that whenever you select it, it prompts you to purchase it. This item was a speed coil which I did not want.

When it prompted me, I pressed exit and tried to go to the other tool. But because the shoulder buttons only go to the tool last selected, I accidentally purchased the speed coil while trying to jump.

I’ve tried contacting support but all it does is act like it’s trying to send. I need help getting this reverted.

I agree that it is way too easy to accidentally purchase items with a controller.

Is the purchase “cooldown” not present on console? I’m talking about the timer between the popup showing and the purchase button being clickable.

I’ve personally had this happen to me in another situation, though that was before the popup timer thing was added. It had very much ruined my day too

I never got a cooldown when the prompt… well prompted.

You’ll have to submit a bug report then since you should still get a cooldown.

I can’t submit bug reports you have to give an application.

Bump.

This still has not been reverted yet and I am unable to contact support as the button is bugged for me. Is there any way I can get staff to help me?

Try contacting the game developer, that’s your best bet.
