Roblox warned me because I uploaded a prohibitory symbol (Google it if you don’t know what that looks like - Roblox might ‘suspend’ my account if I do it again)
^ It’s nothing bad - but I kind of need it for my game and I had no idea why the moderation thought it was bad.
Did you find the image online? I think that’s what “This policy violation was detected by automated means”, means, where the image was previously moderated and your upload was detected to be the same image.
On Roblox, some trolls layer the no symbol(general prohibition symbol) on things that they don’t support. I won’t give examples, but I’m sure you can imagine how it could be misused.
The most common method with asset uploading is making the no symbol a t-shirt, then layering it on a Classic shirt that has a word or image on it. Individually each asset looks fine, just like a normal T-shirt and shirt. Layered on top of each other they become problematic.
This is also the problem with allowing users to publish all letters A-Z as individual shirts. People and their friends/alts will stand together in games and spell out whatever word they want to.
But in this situation a human staff member would likely accept appeal if you’re trusted.
Subject matter
The bot may have accidentally interpreted the symbol as one of these:
Which would better explain the whole “Roblox does not permit illegal or regulated content in any form. This can include alcohol, drugs, tobacco products, or bomb or weapon making” thing.
I’m betting it was the first one in your situation Frazer, while it was the second one in your (thankfully resolved) case Axmos.
