Roblox weapons kit animation

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
I’m trying to make separate animations for each gun for the roblox weapons kit
  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
Each time I change an animation for one gun, it replicates the animation to all guns (Example: I made separate anims for pistol and shotgun but pistol animations clone to shotgun animations)
  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
I have been trying to find solutions from the devforum. One post was also talking about animations but it wasn’t the one I am talking about now. I’ve also tried checking the Weapons kit article on the developer website, but it was so cluttered and not really helpful so I decided to make this post.

Ok, so if you want an example join the game where I edited the animations for the kit:

Ok, straight to the topic.
I want to make it so that each gun has a different animation (im using roblox’s weapon kit from the developer site and the one they use from the battle royale template.). Each time I change one animation for a gun and one animation to the other gun, it plays the animation from one of the guns (preferably the first gun placed into toolbox) onto the other guns. I really want to know how to fix this. If you want an example, play the linked game or look at these screenshots (screenshots from studio build of the game I linked)

Rifle:

Rocket:

As you can see from these images, they are completely different animation.
Is there something in the script that makes it so that it clones all animation to every gun? Help is appreciated, but unhelpful comments aren’t, and I appreciate if you think about what you say before replying to prevent unhelpful comments. Thanks!

Try put animation value in configurations of the tool

ReloadAnimation ( StringValue ) (optional) — Name of reload animation in WeaponsSystem/Assets/Animations; default is RifleReload .

AimTrack ( StringValue ) (optional) — Name of aim animation track in WeaponsSystem/Assets/Animations; default is RifleAim .

AimZoomTrack ( StringValue ) (optional) — Name of aim zooming animation track in WeaponsSystem/Assets/Animations; default is RifleAimDownSights .

Hmm, sure I’ll try that. If it doesn’t work I’ll just notify you.

make sure all the WeaponsSystem folders are gone from all the guns and you have the one you want to use. btw how do you make the aim animation for the guns? mine keeps getting messed up

Not the school… :sob:
