Roblox.com redirected you too many times error

Roblox is down sometimes ok pretty much all the time no need to get worked up over a bug

tried on edge, firefox, and chrome and indeed it is a server issue

Loading the site in an incognito window works fine. I tried to view the network console on a normal tab, but it redirects too much and and won’t show me any errors codes.

I have the same issue, seems like Roblox is at it again - this is literally a daily returning problem now (ROBLOX get better servers please!)

I’ve tried looking at the console on Firefox but the only thing that displays is “This error page has no error code in its security info”

Thank God I’m not the only one with this, I thought I got IP banned or something.

EDIT: It scared me because in the URL bar it says this.

You’d usually see that on a banned account.

On the app it works sometimes, I just check but it doesn’t seem like it will load.

has anyone reported this issue to ROBLOX?

I think it means the JQuery they added for a new update got an error and CORS Policy blocked it for shutting down the website I kinda know this as I am a website dev myself. I have tried to make my own with JavaScript and HTML for a game and it said the same thing. CORS Policy stopped it.

[All these links are just developer.mozilla.org the main website for this stuff]
Definition: Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) is an HTTP-header based mechanism that allows a server to indicate any other origins (domain, scheme, or port) than its own from which a browser should permit loading of resources. CORS also relies on a mechanism by which browsers make a “preflight” request to the server hosting the cross-origin resource, in order to check that the server will permit the actual request. In that preflight, the browser sends headers that indicate the HTTP method and headers that will be used in the actual request.

An example of a cross-origin request: the front-end JavaScript code served from https://domain-a.com uses XMLHttpRequest to make a request for https://domain-b.com/data.json .

For security reasons, browsers restrict cross-origin HTTP requests initiated from scripts. For example, XMLHttpRequest and the Fetch API follow the same-origin policy. This means that a web application using those APIs can only request resources from the same origin the application was loaded from unless the response from other origins includes the right CORS headers.

I assume roblox down I am having the same issue as well could it be brock heaven. I also reset my cookies in hopes that it would fix it but it did nothing.

Roblox might have tried to push an update concerning it’s cookies security and they messed up the entire websites with a few lines. A possibility to me.

Yep, this is universal. Chrome, Firefox, and even the mobile app.

DownDetector users are saying it’s Brookhaven. Again. Like it always does.
I swear, even Adopt Me’s server crashes were better than this…

Same

Yet, they aren’t informed of the situation.

Can Confirm. Also has been having issues with logging into studio, It has been impossible for me

Even if I tried to login it would not work.

Update: I’ve tried going to Authentication Api and this is what it says:

I can confirm this happens on Safari on Mac and IOS.

The issue is Site Only, Many members are still in my game meaning game servers are fine, This is a site-only issue. I’m sure they will get it fixed in no time at all.
