I installed windows on a new PC and went to download studio.
So I googled “roblox studio”, went to the page, and clicked “Start Creating” but you are just handed an error. I tried this on another pc that has studio installed and got the same error. Being logged out seems to be the key?
If I remember correctly, I think it’s a requirement that you must be logged in now to use Roblox Studio.
But Studio is supposed to open and then prompt you to login and should do the same when opening from the /create page.
Showing an unexpected error when a new developer is looking to try out the Studio tools creates a bad user experience.
I’m not saying I agree with a non-descriptive error; I am simply just stating that it definitely is linked to not being logged in.
I agree fully that the error message should inform the end-user that they are not logged in and should redirect them to the Roblox login page.
