So in the past I was scripting a lot with motivation but after studio started bugging with the scripts and lua editor I stopped a bit. Now I want to return to scripting but it is the same. The editor is not producing errors in the console and isnt even doing what script is intended to do.
I do not have any code specific where this occurs, I just want to see if someone else has this problem (or similar).
I also think that they should update the editor…

It’s hard to say anything without anything from your side. If it really were an error in all editors, there’d be certainly more reports and posts about it, so even if it may seem otherwise, this has to be a problem on your end (for now, at least). Also, “they should fix this and update that” is never helpful, fix what? Update that why? Regarding your problem, check that you didn’t accidentally disable stuff (also in “All Contexts” next to it).

Well it’ll be hard to help. At least give a little bit of info? Like write a script intentionally wrong and see what happens. Also try reinstalling Studio (make backups, of course!)
Uninstall everything and start over.
