ROBUX for tasks?

As long as I’ve been on ROBLOX it has been against the rules to offer ROBUX for anything ROBUX weren’t designed to be bargained with (catalog items, etc; things that can’t be scammed). A long time ago I even saw people here on the RBXDev forum shut down for offering ROBUX for services rendered. A moderator even posted and explained that it’s against the rules to do so.

Now, however, I see lots and lots of ROBUX offers all over this forum for a variety of different things. Even in a pinned post.

So, the question is, officially: are we allowed to offer ROBUX for services on here?

EDIT: By “services” I mean development services, such as building, scripting, graphic design, etc

On the developer forum, they don’t mind, but on roblox forums it’s not suppose to be allowed because of scamming from what I heard.

From what I’ve seen, on the dev forums, the staff are okay with trading ROBUX for development work on the site, but not for selling ROBUX or trading ROBUX for real items.

Also, on the rules it says we can’t sell anything roblox-related for USD on roblox.

Does that mean if I sell it in-person or something it’ll be fine?

I’ve been thinking about this too recently but it seems like dumb rule to enforce. There would be like no reason to do collab projects. But now with the group payouts thing, it seems fine to pay robux for services, just as long as no one’s getting scammed.

They actually have a strict ‘fuck it’ policy when it comes to group payouts. They do 0% for anything group-payout related and I think that’s for the best. Only the owner can give out $$$ so it’s all up to the players deciding where or not they should trust the person.
