Rogue Built-In Plugin called "Creator Config" Removal Aid

Reinstalling Roblox Studio today added a random plugin called “Creator Config” “Studio.CreatorConfig.Plugin.Toolbar” that serves no purpose besides flooding my plugins bar’s very limited space.

Clicking on this plugin opens this tab that does nothing besides displaying this.

Problem:
I am unable to locate & remove this rogue plugin through any relatively Easy Means.

Solutions I’ve tried:

  • Reinstall Roblox studio (Did not clear the plugin)
  • Delete the Local Plugins Folder’s contents & Reinstall (Did not clear the plugin)
  • Looked through the Plugins Folder (found nothing)
  • Look through the Manage Plugins tab (found nothing)
  • Looked through the Built-In Plugins Folder (found nothing similarly named, attempting to import the .rbxm files for manual review returned a corruption warning for every Built-In plugin (even after a fresh reinstall))

Main way I can think of is to simply downgrade your version of Studio.
The simplest way to do that is to utilise MaximumADHD’s Mod Manager, found below:

maximumADHD our beloved

wanted to chime in and just say this looks like something similar had happened with an internal storybook plugin on some ui implementation that happened awhile back and it looks like it could just have been accidentally enabled, so we could see this disappear eventually

After looking a little more I found that the plugin was within the “BuiltInStandalonePlugins” folder under the Exact Same Name, deleting it solved my issue well enough.

Thank the two of you for your info.
