Hi all,
I have recently made this game with a few others:
You must roll around in a marble through as many obstacles as you can.
I woke up this morning to a Twitter message from Flamingo (roblox youtuber) saying he will put a video up of the game in the next couple days, what sort of attention should I expect the game to get?
I’ve been told by a few I’d get 1000 concurrent players, is it true that the game can blow up this much just from a video?
Well most flamingo fans like to check out the games after the video is over. Most of his views on his videos are about 1.2 million after a day or 2 and when it’s first up about 10,000-100,000. And that concurrent player is very accurate!
WOW sounds like you got yourself the dream! your game is probably going to get popular make sure to update it soon after its popular so the players get hooked.
EDIT: just checked and your visits jumped up to 1,000!!!
Flamingo doesn’t tell devs when he makes video on their games, nice try but stop advertising. I would know because I personally know someone who got their game played in a flamingo video and didn’t get emailed or messaged at all.
I would probably make the Wall a little bit taller cause if you run into them too fast you will just fly away, but other than that is a pretty fun game. I like the build a lot, maybe you could add some more stuff depending on the level you are in but other than that is very well made
Congrats! This is a huge deal, and because your game has the potential to attract the main audiences that watch Flamingo, you might see a spike in concurrent players. Do keep in is not certain that they will stick around, as Flamingo is constantly posting new content, and so it might be a mirage in terms of what the future holds.
If Flamingo ends up making a video on it, you could really expect a few thousand concurrent for the first day, after a few days player count will probably drop down to ~250-500. But really it depends on how much his fans enjoy your game.
Yes, it is definitely possible! Flamingo gets hundreds of thousands of views on his videos! Lucky guy, you are. But thats only in the first few days.
Soon, it will drop to the 100 or 500 people who like the concept of the game, and decide to continue playing.
If he keeps posting content on this every one or two weeks, it should stay popular with 800 - 1000 concurrent players every day.
Flamingo’s audience is younger kids and some teenagers, I recommend adding a ton of content and features to pull them in and make a player base by adding features they want.
