HI! I am creating a game during the Wild West era, and there is a saloon that sells root beer, pretty sure that’s fine, but would it get moderated if the root beer was in a glass mug? It is suppose to represent beer but does not mention it at all

I think this says it all. Even if it’s not explicitly alcohol, it’s an alcohol reference.
Will it be moderated? Probably not. But could it be? Yes, for the reasons you’ve already acknowledged.
This root beer looks cool! As long as you try not to depict any specific substance, it should be good. It would be best if you clearly stated it’s not a substance or is root beer. Nice job on this!

Just use bloxy cola, its pretty similiar, maybe put a logo of it on the glass so you can say its it
