Manipulating the rotation of the C0/C1 values on the Waist Motor6D causes undesired and unnatural looking twisting/shifting of the characters arms. Manipulation of this Motor is a pretty common way (and the only way I can think of) to achieve characters looking up/down from a third person view.
This video was taken on an empty baseplate using the “Block Avatar” rig from the built-in rig builder plugin as the StarterCharacter. I am using this rig to confirm that it was not just an issue with a bundle my avatar is wearing.
Repro steps:
- Open empty baseplate
- Enter playtest and manually adjust the C0/C1 values on the Waist motor inside your character.
