DECEMBER 7TH (weapon tweaks)
  • Weapons now render based off of your frame rate. They will no longer move in slow motion.

  • For now, recoil has been removed from guns and it was messy, didn’t work right, and messed up aiming so bad. Expect it back in the future.


NOVEMBER 30TH (Bullet drop, rocket launcher, landmines and more)
  • Brand new lobby menu. Comes with an in-game update list, ordered server lists, a friend finder for joining friends in-game, and the ability to cancel a teleport to a server if it’s taking to long. Oh and the UI is pretty spiffing now and no longer make-shift crap.

  • The combat server has returned!

  • Brand new Casual server. Raiding and killing is disabled, and gather rates are x3. Good for testing out base designs of just casually trying stuff out in the game. In a short while a feature will be added to this mode to enable toggleable PVP mode.

  • Rocket Launcher. The one a lot of people have been waiting for. A long distance raiding too that can also be deadly in combat.

  • Brand new projectile system. Ricochets, new bullet tracers, hit effects, hit sounds, bullet drop and damage drop off! All guns now have different bullet velocity and use real-world ballistic trajectories to calculate the path of bullets. Huge realism improvement to combat!
  • Landmines! These are used for base defense and trapping. If they’re placed inside your own base and you’re authorized on them, they wont detonate if you walk on them. They can be countered with ranged weapons.

  • The player camera now have realistic sway / bobbing to add to realism in the game.
  • Wooden barricades, used to defend your base. Can be placed in bases or on terrains. They deal physics damage and bleed damage, and will damage players who use melee tools to try and destroy them.

  • Updated health ui for structures

  • New muzzle flash.

  • Resources now have a display showing how much of the percentage of their resources still remains

  • Explosives now shoot shrapnel out when they detonate. Beware, this shrapnel damages and causes bleed damage.
  • Objects can now be rotated left and right with the R and T key

  • Water now turns to black at night so you can’t see in the water as if it were daytime

  • Non-material items can no longer be glitched into an Owner Cupboard

  • Fixed inventory display glitches

  • Nerfed hunting rifle, it now only holds one bullet in its clip at a time

  • Nerfed bunny hopping

  • All gun ironsights have now been perfected

  • Items can no longer fling when dropped

  • Water fling glitch fixed

  • Fixed an issue where breaking an item like a campfire or wall torch would give resources in it’s drop bag after destruction


NOVEMBER 16TH (Team system, ladders, dynamite)
  • Team system! Highly requested feature. Have up to 5 members on a team at once and it will give you the ability to see them on the map, as well as whether they’re alive, dead, or offline. As well as that, you’ll be able to see a marker above any teammates nearby in a 750 radius whether they’re dead, alive or offline.

  • Dynamite now available. This is like a low tier C4. It does less damage and has the potential to dud and has to be reignited. This is the first “eco raiding” item added to the game.

  • Ladders! Used for getting on top of bases in raiding, or can be used for getting around your own base.

  • Icepick! Pickaxes finally have a tier 3 tool, the Icepick.

  • Nodes now have HD textures

  • Time increased after building an object where you can break it instantly with the B key. Increased from 2 minutes to 4 minutes.

  • Doors now add to decay costs

  • Misc fixes


NOVEMBER 9TH (Quality of life update)
  • Buildings now decay at almost have the rate they did previously

  • When servers are rebooted, players are now sent to a waiting place while the game is being updated, and will be automatically teleported back to the game lobby when the servers are back online.

  • Your character no longer spazzes out when respawning at your sleeping body when rejoining the game.

  • Blood from bleeding now lasts longer

  • When the server is rebooted, the game will now make a best attempt to save before the server closes completely so that there are no rollbacks when the server reopens and so that players are in the same place they were just before the reboot.

  • Applied a potential fix to characters flinging or bouncing on heads


NOVEMBER 3RD (LARGE UPDATE)
  • New map seed, this seed is a bit different because it fills more of the entirety of the map.

  • Large Furnaces! They hold up to 18 slots filled with items at once, have a lot of health, efficiently refine ore, but have to be placed on flat terrain. Furnaces bases are now possible!

  • Nighttime is now properly dark.

  • Added a new flashlight tool to coincide with the new darker nighttime.

  • To add onto this update, the air drop plane now flashes red so it can be seen all times of the day

Some of you may ask why I made night time so dark. There are a few reasons. Firstly no one used torches in the game as it never got dark enough for them to be of use. Farming resources at night time left you just as exposed as you were in day time so there was no safe farm time during the day. No one was bothering to use ceiling lights, wall torches or campfires to light up their base. I felt this to be non-immersive, so I’m trying out proper nighttime darkness for a while to see how it goes.

  • Players now start with a wooden axe and wooden pickaxe instead of a Rock. This is to streamline resource gathering.

  • Bleeding has been added to the game. Weapons now inflict bleed damage along with normal damage. While bleeding, a player will lose health every second. You can bleed for a maximum of 100 seconds at once. Bleeding can be stopped with bandages or a medkit.

  • Players who are bleeding now trail blood until they stop their bleeding

  • All weapon damages have been reworked to balance them with bleeding

  • C4 max stack is now 5 at once and can be thrown without having to equip a new C4 between each throw

  • Medkits have been added to the game. They heal you over time (not instant healing), however they stop bleeding completely in one go.
    **Beware, if your health is being drained from bleeding, hunger, thirst or drowning, your overtime heal will get deducted from every second which will cause your medkit to do less healing overall.

  • Food now heals over time rather than instantly.

MedKit

  • Bandages have been added to the game. Crafted with cloth and provide instant healing and reduce bleeding!

Bandages

  • When you log off, your now sleep on the ground and your character represents what your character looks like in game and displays your name above your body. Current sleeping bodies won’t be affected by this, only new ones after players log off.

  • When you get healed or damaged, the health UI now shows your health change. If you eat food or drink water, it will show positive change indicators on hunger and thirst respectively.

  • Players who are building will now have a building plan equipped on their world character

  • The idle stand animation has been updated to look more natural

  • Patched a major issue that would break items if you crafted or picked up an item with a full inventory

  • Trees in forests are now procedurally resized to give forests a more natural feel. More updates to forests will be coming in the future to continue to make them more dense.

  • Trees now give bonus wood when fully cut down

  • Patched a hotbar switch exploit

  • Terrain colours have been updated to be more natural, and less saturated

  • When you go to place an object, there is a now a green arrow that is displayed showing your the front facing direction so that you know which way to place your objects

  • You can now hold “R” when placing items to rotate them on a smooth 360 degree axis.
