Currently, as of 9/21/2022, the two main animations included in the “Rthro Idle” avatar animation have been incorrectly swapped around.
This refers to the normal idle animation (Animation1) and the alternate idle animation (Animation2).
The pose animation is not affected.
On 9/21/2022, most animation packs were updated to support facial animation, so this seems to be a mistake made when the animations were reuploaded.
The face-compatible alternate idle has been uploaded as the normal one (Animation1), and the face-compatible normal idle has been uploaded as the alternate one (Animation2).
Note: Both animations are very similar, it’s just that the alternate one should have its arms bent a bit more than the normal one. This is how the Rthro Idle was before 9/21.
This issue has extended to the new “Realistic - Idle” avatar animation. This avatar animation is visually the exact same as the “Rthro Idle”, and features the same issue of the two animations being incorrectly swapped around, as described in the original post.
For whatever reason, Roblox reuploaded all of the Rthro animations as new avatar animation assets, naming them “Realistic” instead. You can find these animations in the new free starter bundles they created to work with layered clothing, like “Cameron” for example.
So now there are basically two identical sets of Rthro animations on the catalog, with the only noticeable difference being the names of the assets. I don’t understand why they didn’t just use the standard Rthro animations for these bundles like they normally do.
