RTS Ship Movement Mechanics

Going to be working on an RTS of sorts. Currently just finished most of the movement mechanics. Give it a try. Just click on a ship, and click on the map.

[No, I haven’t done anything in regards to effects or player ownership. This is SOLEY just for movement at the moment and as well as to give a showcase of the game]

What are some ideas you’d like to see in a game like this?

I like this a lot! Big fan of where it’s going so far.

One thing I would do is make the ship movement more realistic in that they shouldn’t instantly turn around at such an acute angle/Tokyo drift.

I’d also add a path that shows what route the ship would take, kind of like the unit paths in HOI4.

I like that path idea, definitely gonna give it a go.

And yeah, I’m looking at ways to enact a more dynamic movement system. This is just initial phasing.
