Safe chat is broken for a lot of users

Every user who is over 13+ have safe chat turned on for some reason and can’t disable it.
I’m sure this is a bug. Even my friends who are 19 and didn’t have safe chat before, now have safe chat turned on.
It started occurring this week so it’s a very recently occurring bug.

This thread also have reported it but has a misleading title
