As the title describes, this will be Roblox’s first ever game where any roblox user can create Clothes for Roblox, through a Roblox Game in any platform such as Console, PC, IPad, Mobile. It’s handled by a very complicated system with external server, a custom made database system and tons of more stuff. The game hasn’t been released yet, and once you purchase it, it will be yours, and you’ll own the first kind of such games.

In this game, once a player joins, they’ll be able to choose any template they want (Shirt, Pants, or both Shirt and Pants), then they’ll get to the image editor, from there they’ll be able to choose Body Parts, and draw onto it through the image editor. It also has live preview so the user can immediately see where they are drawing on the body, and how it would look like. The image editor is Roblox’s most advanced image editor, and the fastest that can also run in low-end devices.

This also comes with Ro-Photoshop module integrated inside of it which alone costs 3K USD or about 1 million Robux which is Roblox’s most powerful image editor that has ever existed:

The Game comes with a full website, that can be used for management, turning off/on the system, admin panel where staffs can take actions on any user directly from the website even if the game is offline (private). It also comes with 3D moderation system for the staffs (that can be enabled by the owner if they want to), so every Clothes that the users’ create could be moderated by the game staffs directly from the website (which also supports all platforms such as Mobile, IPad, PC, Console). It also comes with an external database which the server handles, and the Roblox Game communicates with for more advanced search & filter system than Roblox’s DataStore System.

The website client scripts are compressed, and protected with security guarantees that they cannot be breached. They are also encrypted at runtime (when starting the server for the first time). The Drawing handler at the VPS-backend is also multi-threaded for extreme speed. It can handle any level of load safely.

The Game VPS backend is over 30,000 lines of code, designed to handle cyberattacks & exploits & high load & Roblox Crashes / Errors, and failures. It also comes with very advanced automatic refunding system after consecutive failures for over 50 hours for each user (user-specific).

It also comes with a Discord bot which users can directly get the template as PNG from their creation in the Roblox game using its item-id which the game gives to the creator.

The Creators before choosing to create the clothes, they can make their creation Public or Private, and choose whether to be uploaded to Roblox Marketplace or not. They can also name it.

No Game like this in Roblox has ever existed, and it will be first of its kind.

Currently the price for the game is 17,500 USD or 5 million Robux without us maintaining it for you after. In case, you want us to maintain and set up everything for you for at least 5 years after purchase (servers, accounts, staff management, moderation, VPS backend stuff), then that’d lead the price to increase to 28,000 USD or 7.5 million Robux. (If Robux, tax will have to be covered)

First off, let me say, if everything is truly as described, it’s a great display of technical skill.

My question is, how do you profit from it? Do you charge to export the image or something? Also, does it upload to Roblox from the game, or does it just give you the image that you can upload?

Even so, how much would you charge to upload it? If you charge a fee on top of the asset creation fee, most people would likely just make something on one of the many free image editors. It also appears to lack the tools that apps like Photoshop offer, which are essential to clothing creators.

TDLR; While it’s an excellent show of technical talent, I don’t see it being profitable nor practical for most clothing creators.

P.S.

It’s a bit dishonest to say this module costs 1,000,000 robux, considering you’re the one who priced it at that. While it does technically cost that much, you’re framing it as if you paid for that module, rather than you creating it, costing you nothing (other than time and talent of course).

Whenever the players create clothes in-game, they have 3 options:

  • Option 1: Whether they want their creation to be uploaded to Roblox
  • Option 2: If they don’t want their creation to be uploaded, then they’ll only be able to access it through the game in the game inventory for creation (non-uploads), or through the Discord bot.
  • Option 3: Whether they want their creation to be public or private (it’s irrelevant in our discussion here)

If it’s option 1: Then, our system will automatically take lead and use specifically designed accounts to handle the uploading process automatically after moderation through the website, and the upload usually is handled in several seconds, once it’s done, it will automatically be sent back to the Roblox Game, and let the player know, if the player is still in-game, it will show it as a purchase prompt, if not, it will send them a notification, and go into their ‘uploads’ inventory in-game, which will have the data stored about their creation including the uploaded assetid, then they can easily press a buy button on it, and it will show them a prompt to buy. (also, indeed they can still get their creation through the Discord Bot, it will also go into their inventory either way).

You mentioned that they can just use other Image Editor Softwares outside of Roblox, which is not really correct. They need to have full knowledge of how Roblox Templates work, and work section by section, they’ll also have a hard time being able to see what they’ve created, and what it’d look like on a rig. If they wanted to use Roblox Studio, or Clothing Preview apps, then that’d also take a very long time and be difficult which is not worth it at all. Creating Clothes for Roblox has been a tedious and difficult process, also Roblox young audience don’t really know how to deal with templates, nor knows how to upload their clothes. This is specifically designed for that purpose. To help everyone, whether you have ADHD, or you are a young or inexperienced person to be able to create Clothes for Roblox in the easiest way possible. As a matter of fact, this game offers a feature where players can get in-game currency by playtime, this even gives the chance to those with even 0 Robux to be able to create Clothes for Roblox. A PLS Donate kind of thing can also be created inside of it, if the owner wanted to. So the players can sell their Clothes, or even have stores in-game. There is already a built-in Community Clothes and Global Marketplace which can help a little bit.
In short: Photoshop or any other image editor software doesn’t replace this, and simply can’t. This is also simply in a Roblox Game and can be accessed through any platform which things like this had never existed before.

Regarding profit for the owner, currently, for Non-Upload-To-Roblox creations, the fee is 4 Strawberry, but for Upload-To-Roblox creations the fee is 9 Strawberries, they can adjust this value if they want to. They can also make the in-game features or some of the image editor features gamepasses, or even add their own gamepasses and dev products to the game. There is also Premium Payout. Indeed, this might not make as much money as a money-grabbing toilet simulator game, but this is for the USERS of Roblox, to be able to make tons of people’s dreams come true that want to create their own clothes (I was one of them).

Regarding the Image Editor module being priced at 1 million Robux, the image Editor in reality was created for this game inside of this game, and it took us over a year to get it completed, while the game itself over 2 years. The Image Editor was later taken out of it, turned into a decent module, and the game updated with the latest version of it. You’ll also be receiving any update we make to the image editor. Also, in my opinion, the image editor doesn’t lack features. As a matter of fact, 99% of the features it has, the vast majority of Roblox Users don’t even know how to use them nor know what they are even. While the module is priced at 1 million Robux, our target people for that is the Big Roblox Studios. As CanvasDraw, OSGL already exist for small Studios, and small Drawing Games that don’t want anything too fancy, or any fancy performance that can also run in low-end devices smoothly. We’ve spent thousands of hours into that, if you’ve ever created a full image editor, you’ll understand, and the struggle with performance will be your biggest issue that will likely stay unsolved. The module uses insane algorithms, and advanced techniques to achieve that performance that no one else in Roblox has managed to use nor know of so far.
If a small Roblox Studio or Team were to contact us about purchasing the module, needing it very badly while they don’t have that much Robux, we could DEFINITELY help them out as much as we can.

If you want to know how optimized the image editor is, you can try to create your own Basic Drawing Tool with a radius of 512, at a 1024x1024 Canvas. Whether with CanvasDraw, OSGL, or directly from Editableimage, and see the performance you’ll get. I’ll guarantee you, it will NOT be 1% of the performance that our Ro-Photoshop module can achieve.

Tl;dr This project is mostly about making Dreams of thousands of Designers, and people that want to be able to create Clothes for the first time that don’t know how to deal with the complicated Roblox Template, Uploading stuff. We’ve made it as easy as we could possibly do for them here.

Here are my thoughts:

  • The clothing templates on Roblox are not complicated. It’s literally a folded up cube.
  • I agree that it’s kinda cool for young players (ie. a kid doodling on their Ipad) but they can’t earn money from their creation, nor can they actually get it (unless they have the robux to buy it). You also mentioned your photoshop tool having lots of advanced tools. Wouldn’t this be overwhelming to your target audience?

I get that the whole idea is that it’s supposed to be an easy and convenient way to upload and make clothes for Roblox. However, I don’t see how this is really profitable. Older users would rather use image editors for their ability to import images and advanced tools, and younger players likely won’t have the funds to purchase the clothes they make. Overall, I just don’t see who this is made for.

TDLR; too hard for young kids, too limiting for older users

  • Regarding Young Roblox Users not having the robux isn’t really entirely true, the vast majority of Purchases come from Roblox’s young audience.
  • For the tools, it will not take much effort to create a button for advanced tools, and have them hidden as default.

I also don’t think it’s extremely limiting, extremely fancy clothes has been created with this during the test times. I’d argue it’s more about the designers, and their adaptability.
Also, regarding your statement of Roblox Templates not being difficult. I totally disagree with it, I’ve been in designers’ servers, and I know for a fact there’s so many users longing for an easy tool like this to be able to create clothes with because they don’t know how to deal with Roblox Templates. This is also profitable, however, again it might not be as profitable as a money-grabbing game.
