Same shadow softness yet different results

Hi. I don’t post here often but can someone explain the following?

So i have a game that is essentially just a hub for the actual games i make. And i was in the middle of optimising my work and stumbled uppon this. (Different shadow softness with same settings.)

Same settings, yet different results. Why is that?

If you’re wondering why didn’t i just post it in Engine Bugs well i can’t. So if someone’s kind enough and has access please forward this.

that’s because of ClockTime in lighting properties, as in picture 2 clock time is 8, while picture one clock time is 12

I was talking about the jagged edges on the shadows.

I’m pretty sure that’s more of a lighting error then, especially if that part is a union, changing some setting in lighting other then shadow softness could work
