This is the “Vanguard II” satellite, the first satellite launched by NASA, not to be confused with Explorer 1, the first satellite launched by the air force. Hope you like it!

Well, I used atmosphere visuals to my best advantage, I’ve tweaked with them for a few months and tried it out. A lot of fine details, working in 0.0001 increments etc. it really just takes time and practice
