As a former college student, I did exactly that. 
2021 was especially painful for me to get right. At least one (forgot if 2, so just going to assume 1) told me that I would have had to accept an F for the week’s assignments with no makeup option if I didn’t luck out with other stuff messing up the week.
I’ve been to 1 RDC a year since 2015, just to provide context on what value it brings to me. It has helped me get my last 2 positions at smaller studios. It has paid itself back many times over and was very fun.

It’s honestly great to see RDC announced in great time, time after time. Thank you for that.
I do question why it remains at 2 days, I think it’s a bit too compact and that 3 days make more sense especially given The Innovation Awards could be given a dedicated day with unique events around that.
For the last few years, apart from when I’ve been in person unless I wanted to be awake at 2 or 3am time, I couldn’t see the innovation awards live. Given how big the European dev market is to Roblox, it’s a shame this is not considered further.

Last year was cool to meet a lot of people who’s works I enjoyed playing, as well as meeting the team I work with. Hope I can make it this year too!

I’m guessing it is still actually 3 days instead of 2. Roblox has not included the multi-hour early badge pickup + socializing + mixer event in the day count for… 3 years, at least? Not sure why because it is 100% worth making sure you arrive in the morning or afternoon of that day.

Agreed, some of the people I met on that day became really close friends of mine who I continue to speak to even to this day! It is amazing for creators to be able to meet new people, surprised they leave out such a large gathering.

This is true and I’m aware of that, which makes the whole thing rather funny because they do have the venue for that 3rd day. Looking back at some older RDCs showed that a fuller 3 day event made more sense over the current 2 day + badge pickup
But also for virtual attendees, that day doesn’t exist for us.
