Scaling down an editable mesh

As it stands, im only able to scale down an editable mesh by scaling down the mesh its parented to. This is extremely fustrating.

Sometimes, when you create an editable mesh from an existing meshid, thr mesh turns out way too big.

I was wondering if anyone knows a way thst woulr allow me to scale down the actual editable mesh.

The scale property located within thr editable mesh instance does NOT work.

What is an editable mesh? Do you mean a special mesh?

Roblox released a new feature a week ago called editable mesh. I reccomend reading into it.

If anyone cousl give me atleast somr insight on how id aproach this, then id apreciate it. Im aware that ill need to mess with the vertexes of the mesh.
