Scaling problem with a imported object in blender

I’m trying to make a GFX and never done one before, so I save/export a object from roblox studio into files as .obj (.obj was the only option I could save as), then I import the object from file into blender and it got imported really really small, which leads to the problem is that I can’t scale the object for some reason, I did some testing with things and try to import a .fbx and I could perfectly scale it but not for a .obj for some reason.

Btw I might not reply after I’m posting this because is really late in my timezone so I will look and respond to the replys tommorow, thanks :grinning:

Can you describe the scaling problem? If your importing the character, I don’t think there’s nothing wrong with the scale, unless you say it’s the position when you import the obj file into blender.

I basically try to scale the object to make it larger but it doesn’t get bigger basically and as you can see the object is really small and is was that size when I imported it.

Okay look, go to Object(which is top left of the viewport frame), click origin, then click origin to 3D Cursor. Then, go back to Object, origin and this time click Geometry to Origin. This might work. Because I think you don’t know the fact about that when you import an object into blender, it will copy the location data and paste it in blender.

soz for the late response and I will try that thanks

I did the step thing and then I try to scale it and this massive green things come up lol

Because you scaled it too high, which means you have mistaken about the model at the center. You should know that whenever you import an object to blender, blender will take the object’s position data and replicate it in blender. Now you can mark my previous comment as solution.

So now, remove the model, import it again, do my steps and ur model will be fine.

Ok I will try later because I have a busy day, I will mark your as solution.
