Scaling problems on Studio

I feel really dumb for asking this but, I am anyways. So, I made a mesh in Blender and decided to keep it really big so I could easily see everything. Once I finished coloring it, I wanted to scale it down. When I try to, it’s like a barrier is not letting me. I can’t scale it down because it won’t let me.

First check to see if you accidentally ticked collisions on. If that isn’t the case then you can get one of those other resize tools as a plugin and those can usually allow you to resize really small.

My build is really big, I don’t know why it won’t let me resize it.

This issue usually occurs when you have a part imported that’s too small for Roblox to handle (I believe the smallest it handles collisions right now is 0.1x0.1x0.1, but I may be wrong). If there is a part that is too small to scale, try deselecting it and scaling the rest of the model down to your needed size. Then you can resize the actual mesh in studio (I personally use F3X for that).

Holding shift while selecting the mesh with the scale tool and moving one of the scale points should scale it up or down (direction you are going from the center, if you go towards the center, it downscale, if you go away, it upscale). As you do this, have the properties tab open and check to see if any of the x y or z values go to 0.05, if so, you have reached its limit basically. Also, make sure the “Move” increment in studio is at least .1 or anything less than 1.

If none of that works, get the resize model plugin which is able to sometimes bypass these settings. Just make the mesh a model by grouping, and just use the plugin to downscale/upscale to your needs.

Do you know of any good plugins to use for it? I want to make sure that it’s not going to mess anything up.

I have used this plugin in the past, and it works very well for the task I needed to complete.

If you want to scale below 0.05 and are not concerned with its collision, you can use the Building Tools by F3X to resize that specific mesh to whatever you’d like, or DaMrNelson’s Resize Plugin used to be the most commonly used one, but I’m not sure if it’s outdated.

The plugin that “TheDreamDealer” mentioned is what I use but sometimes or I group the parts/object and scale it. Grouping the parts/object is useful if you use something like f3x where it doesn’t edited the entire object only the parts.
