I have recently began a project that is heavily inspired by Schedule 1. I have taken steps in my game planning process in order to make it extremely different to the content involved in Schedule 1 (Illegal substance production) which is against ToS on ROBLOX.
My main concern is that I really want to add the plant growing aspect of Schedule 1 into my game. I want to have things like pots, suspension racks and LED lights to grow “Exotic fruit” that can be used to produce certain broccoli however I fear that this has a lot of similarity to the real life case of “Green” production.
I have investigated the Roblox terms of service a lot and I’m still not sure if I can add this.
Another feature I want to add is the ability to give broccoli to “dealers” which will distribute your broccoli for you, however I also think this has a lot of similarity to the distribution of drugs in the real world.
If you have any ideas on how I can create these game mechanics where they aren’t as similar or you believe that I won’t get moderated for this then please leave a reply.
I looked into what the original Schedule 1 is to come up with this reply, so parts of this could be slightly inaccurate, but I think the best way you can make this rule abiding would be invert some aspects of the game in a way that works for Roblox while keeping other parts similar; the goal could could be to STOP crimes, help sick people heal from illnesses with naturally grown farm foods such as Apples (could combine seeds, water to grow the tree which would then produce the apple, could have a caption after harvesting like “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”) and have businesses in the game overall to make the world a better place. Obviously a bit of an opposite from the original game but would be rule abiding, available to a bigger portion of the roblox playerbase, have a more positive message, and still have many ways to monetize.
Would that not just be growing agriculture? Would the dealers not just be the equivalent to a retailer selling your produce? As long as you ensure that you’re not actually using drugs or anything similar, I doubt Roblox will do anything.
