Scottish Borders Rules

Welcome to the Scottish Borders rulebook!

Every player must read these rules before playing Scottish Borders. By joining Scottish Borders (“SB”, or “the Game”), you state that you have read and agreed to these rules. Not being aware of a rule will not save you from punishments.

We reserve the right to update this rulebook without giving any special notice, please check back regularly, especially after major updates.

A violation of any rule listed in this rulebook can have any of the consequence below:

  • Warning (verbal/formal)
  • Resetting
  • Mute
  • Kick
  • Serverban
  • Permanent ban

Any user who has been permanently banned or warned has the right to appeal their punishment through our website, which can be found on my profile. An appeal does not guarantee the removal of sanctions. Kicks and serverbans cannot be appealed.

Any user has the right to report a player or staff member through our website, again found on my profile, if they believe said user has violated a rule listed in this rulebook. A report does not guarantee the sanctioning of a user. Staff Hierarchy:

  • Owner
  • Senior Moderator
  • Moderator

Please always contact the staff directly above the rank you are reporting E.g contact a Senior Moderator if you have an issue with a Moderator or Developer, instead of the Owner.

Fail-roleplay (FRP) is not currently against our game rules.

Violations of rules listed in this section will generally result in a Verbal/game warning, Mute or Kick, but it is the discretion of the Moderator, as far as the punishment is reasonable.
