SCP: UNIVERSE | MODERATION POLICY

Users with moderation commands within SCP: Universe, are by default consented to agree to the terms listed in this policy.

Command Policies

[1] Execution Policy

Regarding matters as to the action to warn a user or kicking them from the game, moderators are advised to execute it in secrecy, in other words, run commands in the Admin Bar ( Shift + ’ ) or by typing /e before running the command to hide it.

  • [1.1] Executions on a user has to be filled with the offender’s full name as to avoid conflicting with other users.
  • [1.2] Executions for warnings has to be in detail, regardless of time, moderators are advised to use grammar and give details as to why a user has been warned for the offences they made.

[2] Self-Benefit Policy

Self-Benefit are essentially using commands for benefits such as :gear, :god, :team, :give (:tools). These commands shall be used in small quantities, avoid running it frequently as you will be held responsible if questioned by the Head Moderator.

  • [2.1] For commands such as :gear are restricted to the Head Moderator and above, this command is potentially abusive of which may lead to broken mechanics in-game.
  • [2.2] Users performing :god are authorised to do so only if they are on the Moderation Team or if they’re attending to an issue as to avoid potentially getting killed during interrogations.
  • [2.3] Teaming are allowed if it does not break the in-game environments with the consent of a Senior Moderator or above.
  • [2.4] Performing :give or in-directly performing it by using :tools requires lots of responsibilities, weapons that are available could potentially ‘shutdown’ the entire sector with a slight trigger.

[3] Offender’s Rights Policy

In all strict policies, as humans we make mistakes and everyone shall be given a chance to defend themselves. Offenders deserves the right to explain for their actions before you perform moderation acts on them.

  • [3.1] Handcuff offenders are only counted as one if they’re cuffing without reason, before jailing them for interrogations, you shall allow them to explain why they are cuffing users. Moderators may perform further interrogations if offender does not comply.
  • [3.2] Team Killing offenders are only counted as one if they have successfully terminated 2 members without reason. Step foot into theirs, what if they’re the one being team killed and did it to defend themselves.

[4] Public-Shout Policy

Essentially, Public-Shout consists of using the :n, :m, :sm, :h, :setmessage commands.

  • [4.1] Running Public-Shout shall only be used if it requires immediate attention to the entire server, avoid if it’s a minor issue and report it to a Senior Moderator or above if needed.
  • [4.2] As you are representing the moderation for the foundation, you are expected to use grammar and be responsible for the Public-Shout performed.

[5] Service Policy

As moderators of the foundation, moderators are expected to use grammar, punctuations and perform their duties with responsibility.

  • [5.1] Moderators are expected to be professional on-site as they are representing the community and are expected to be role models.
  • [5.2] During service of responding to !help requests, moderators are to approach friendly and allow the user to explain their assistance they need.

[6] Moderative Impression

To ensure players are experiencing the essential gameplay as the developer intended, moderators are to abide to these protocols.

  • [6.1] Avoid teleporting to players if they’re unconsented, doing such gives a bad impression to the team
  • [6.2] You are not allowed to host in-game events, that’s only for the Community Director or the Chief Moderator

[7] In-Game Teaming
