SCP:D | In-Game Regulations

> Introduction <

SCP: Devolved is an SCP Roleplay game created by @SneakySecretAgent. Participate in tests as a Class-D, safeguard the facility as a Security Guard, or become a hostile force by being a Chaos Insurgent. The choice is yours.

The following guidelines below outline the rules that all players must abide by. Failure to do so may result in moderation action.

Note that refunds are not issued for actions taken on your account. By joining the game, you automatically agree to adhere to the guidelines set by the staff team.

> Rules <

1. Abide by the Roblox Community Standards
These are rules that everyone on Roblox must abide by. There is no exception to this rule. https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/203313410-Roblox-Community-Standards

2. Do not exploit/cheat or abuse bugs
Exploits that modify the game’s mechanics are prohibited. Abusing a malicious bug is also not allowed. If you encounter an unintentional bug is found, report it.

3. Do not abuse the chat system
Advertising, copypasta, hate speech, racism, and Anti Semitic/bypassed/racist/derogatory speech are not allowed.

4. Do not abuse in-game tools
The following tools listed will be tools that moderators will moderate: Cuffs, Terminate tool, and Boombox. Cuffs and Terminate tool should only be used for appropriate reasons against Class-D & Foundation Personnel. Any members of the Chaos Insurgency may be cuffed without reason, as they are a hostile faction. Boombox users may not play distorted/bass boosted/bypassed audio.

Valid reasons to utilize Cuffs/Terminate tool
  • Rouge behavior - Purposefully breaching SCPs and/or aiding Class-Ds or CI
  • Trespassing - Entering areas above their clearance without authorization/supervision/permission
  • Negligence - Failing to abide by reasonable orders. Reasonable orders can be defined as anything logical, justifiable, and is acceptable in a given situation.
  • Rioting - Attacking foundation personnel or brandishing a weapon/contraband as a Class-D

This list does not provide every valid reason but gives a few general scenarios where it is valid to use them.

5. Do not intentionally spawn kill (SK)
Preventing a team from being able to respawn and leave their spawn in any way is forbidden. This includes using SCPs to repeatedly spawn trap a team. Class-D & CI spawn are exempt, as they have countermeasures to prevent spawn killing.

6. No obnoxious avatars
Do not wear avatars that can impede one’s visual ability to see. Avatars that fall under this category are avatars that are extremely tiny (approximately 3 studs or less) and avatars that are extremely wide.

7. Do not evade moderator punishment
Attempting to evade moderator punishment will result in a more severe punishment than originally levied.

The rules listed may be added, removed, or modified at any time.

> Moderation <

In-game rules are enforced by our Game Moderation team. They can be found in the official SCP: Devolved group. Moderators will have a tag above their name signifying their rank. If an individual claims to be a moderator but fails to possess these traits, they are not apart of the staff team.

Moderator decisions should be respected. It is inappropriate to harass or attack a staff member based on their decision. If you believe your punishment was unfair or unjustified, you may file an appeal via our communications server.

Moderators will not enforce roleplay rules. Moderators have a final say.
