Script Editor -- 'else' Keyword Spacing Issue

I’ve had this for the longest time and it is SOOOOO ANNOYING. :angry:

Before typing:

After typing else:

After pushing enter:

The else is not indented correctly and the line after it is improperly indented as well. Will this ever get fixed or has it not been brought up or what? :?

Thanks for pointing this out. It┬┤s not even just spacing issues. There’s no reason why it should create an ‘end’, assuming one already exists if you’re typing ‘else’ in the first place.

This actually doesn’t happen with me. -.- Have you tried resetting your settings?

@wes

end? There is no new end?

@Vex

That’s odd…

I still have this issue all the time :angry:

Push enter

i just turn off “auto indent” in settings.

But auto indent works in all cases excluding this one (that I have seen).

Also happens to me.

Odd, I’m not having this issue either on Windows 8.1

I still have this issue…

@TheNickmaster21 Your theme colors are hurting me, so neon-

anyways this has been a issue for months im not sure why no one else has pointed it out (or why i havent seen anyone else point it out)

I can’t reproduce this issue on windows 7, indentation works exactly as it should for me.

I haven’t used an “else” keyword in…Well…At least five weeks. I sort of find every way possible to code around it. :stuck_out_tongue: But when I just did a test I did not get this issue.

Are you on a Mac?

I’m using Windows 8.1

Weird…So am I…

It’s studio setting.
It was a default setting before, but they changed it.

There is a setting for else not working?

No, i mean the end part (that it adds a extra end) when using else.

STILL AN ISSUE.
