Expected Behavior
I expect that the text cursor blinks at the same rate as it normally does and will not cease to blink after I start typing, similar to how it does in the following video:

Actual Behavior
The text cursor will randomly stop blinking either after typing something in the Script Editor or after opening the script. I have attached a video of the issue below but it is not very long as I had some issues getting this to reproduce with QuickTime Player recording my screen (I was able to reproduce the issue for a short time when recording the entire screen and I was unable to reproduce it all when I tried recording a selected portion of the screen).

Workaround
Disable Scrollbar Markers in the Script Editor settings.
